KUMA'S PERSONAL TERMINAL

RESOURCES

This page collects all of the resources I used in the process of making this website.

CODING: The holy grail of learning HTML and CSS, our lord and saviour W3Schools.

Relatedly, this Reddit thread was instrumental in making the links to each Logbook entry work.

TEMPLATE: Made using Sadgrl's Layout Builder.

FONT: It's a recreation of the font from Alien: Isolation's terminals, which I got from DaFont.

LOGO: The logo and ico are Alien: Isolation's map icon for the computer terminals. I recreated it in Canva because I could not find a properly high-defintion version of the image. Plus, because I wanted a slightly more personal icon, I added the person-shaped element from Ron Cobb's Semiotic Standard, a design language originally made for Alien.

NEOCITIES LOGO: I threw together this custom Neocities logo in Canva.

COLOUR SCHEME: To get the colours for the backgrounds etc., I took a screenshot from one of Alien: Isolation's terminals and ran it through ImageColorPicker.com.

GUESTBOOK: I used the very handy Atabook for this!

Here's some fun things I found on the web that you might enjoy too!

Will be updated as I find more cool stuff.

An interactive map of Sevastopol, which has a neat overview of the station's areas, transit, and items.

The Artstation of Brad Wright, Creative Assembly's Lead Artist. It includes a bunch of awesome Alien: Isolation (concept) art!
